Classroom Jobs Wheel
Assign the weekly jobs in front of the class, in about a minute.

What's on the wheel
One entry per line. Paste a whole list at once and the wheel updates as you type.
Weighted mode is on: add *3 after an entry to give it three times the chance.

Jobs on the wheel. Read a student's name, spin for their job. Good when you want the class watching each assignment happen.
Names on the wheel. Read a job, spin for who does it. Faster if you have a saved class list already — load it from the random student picker and use that page instead.
Either way, turn on Remove the winner after each spin so nothing gets assigned twice.
Sixteen jobs is roughly a full class. Delete what does not exist in your room and add what does — every classroom has its own set, and the wheel is only useful with the real one on it.

Making it a Monday ritual
- Edit the list once for your room, then press Save.
- Monday morning, load it and put it on the board with Fullscreen.
- Turn on remove-after-spin, then work through the class.
- Copy the results into your planner so you have the week's assignments written down.
Three minutes, and no complaints — because nobody chose. That is the actual benefit: not speed, but the fact that the teacher did not decide who got the good job.
A tip that works: keep one or two genuinely desirable jobs (tech helper, messenger) on the wheel. If every job is a chore, the ritual becomes a punishment lottery.
Frequently asked questions
Should the jobs or the names be on the wheel?
Either works. Jobs on the wheel when you read out names; names on the wheel when you read out jobs — for that, use the random student picker with your saved class list.
How do I stop a job being assigned twice?
Turn on Remove the winner after each spin and each job leaves the wheel once given out.
Can I save my classroom's job list?
Yes. Save keeps it in this browser and it loads from the Saved wheels panel.
Can I put it on the whiteboard?
Yes. Fullscreen fills the display with just the wheel, and the spacebar spins.
Build a wheel from scratch
Paste any list of your own and spin it the same way.
