This browser onlyWhy this is so hard to decide
Choosing dinner is a low-stakes decision with an enormous number of options, which is exactly the combination that produces twenty minutes of "I don't mind, what do you want?"
Nothing about that conversation is going to produce a better meal. Every option on this wheel is fine. The wheel's job is to end the conversation, not to find the optimum.
The list is deliberately about types of food, not specific dishes — "Tacos" leaves room for whatever you actually have or whichever place is still open, where "chicken tinga tacos with pickled onion" does not.
What's on the What Should I Eat wheel
All 20 options are on the wheel to start with. Edit, delete or add to them — the wheel redraws as you type.

Make it your own
The default list is generic on purpose. It gets much better with five minutes of editing:
- Swap in real places. Replace "Pizza" with the name of the pizza place you actually order from. Then a spin is a decision you can act on immediately.
- Delete what you never want. If sushi is never happening on a Tuesday, take it off. An option you would reject is noise.
- Add what's in the house. Two or three "we already have the ingredients" options make the wheel cheaper as well as faster.
- Weight the healthy ones. Turn on Weighted choices and write
Salad and a side *3to tilt the odds without banning anything. - Save it. Press Save and the list is there next week.
Two people can't agree? Each of you takes half the slices, then spin once. It is more binding than a discussion because you both wrote your own options.
Narrower food wheels
- Dinner wheel — evening meals with cook-at-home options separated from takeout
- Lunch wheel — quick, workday-sized choices
- Restaurant picker — for choosing a place rather than a food
- Random country picker — spin a country, then cook something from it
Frequently asked questions
Can I add my own meals?
Yes. Edit the list on the right — one meal per line. The wheel redraws as you type, and Save keeps it for next time.
Can I make some options more likely?
Turn on Weighted choices and add *2 or *3 after a meal. The result window shows the real probability of whatever comes up.
Can I share the wheel with the person I'm eating with?
Yes. Share this wheel creates a link carrying the whole list, so they can spin it themselves.
Is the pick actually random?
Yes. Every meal has an identical slice and an identical chance, drawn from crypto.getRandomValues() before the wheel starts turning.
