One entry per line. Paste a whole list at once and the wheel updates as you type.
Weighted mode is on: add *3 after an entry to give it three times the chance.

Saved wheels
This browser onlyFill this one in before you spin
This is the template that is close to useless with the default list, and genuinely useful after two minutes of editing — more so than any other wheel on the site.
"The Italian place" means nothing. Marco's on Fifth means you can spin and then call.
So do that first. Open your maps app, look at your saved places or your order history, and paste in eight to twelve real names. Then press Save. That list will settle every "where should we eat" argument for the next two years.
The last entry is deliberate. Everybody has a place they have been meaning to try for eight months. Putting it on the wheel is the only thing that has ever worked.
What's on the Random Restaurant Picker wheel
All 12 options are on the wheel to start with. Edit, delete or add to them — the wheel redraws as you type.
- The Italian place
- Sushi bar
- Taco spot
- Burger joint
- Thai place
- Diner
- BBQ
- Ramen shop
- Pizzeria
- Mediterranean place
- Indian restaurant
- The new place we keep saying we'll try
Settling it between two people
The version that works when nobody will commit:
- Both of you add places. Six each. Nobody adds anywhere the other person would refuse.
- Spin once and go. Agreed before the spin, not after.
- Anyone can veto once. One veto each, per evening. It costs you a re-spin, and knowing you only have one makes people use it honestly.
The veto rule matters. Without an escape hatch people re-spin until they get what they wanted, which is just a slower version of arguing. With one veto, the wheel stays binding.
For a bigger decision-support list, the decision wheel works the same way with any options at all.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use the default list?
Only to try it out. Replace the placeholders with the real names of places near you — that is what makes this page useful.
Can I save my restaurant list?
Yes. Press Save under the wheel; it stays in this browser and loads from the Saved wheels panel.
Can I send the wheel to someone?
Yes. Share this wheel makes a link that carries the whole list, so they can spin the same wheel.
Can I make favourites more likely?
Turn on Weighted choices and add *2 after a place to double its share of the wheel.
